About Meghan
Hi there!
I’m Meghan, your friendly visual historian.
Whew! That’s a fancy way of saying it is my profound joy to help tell your stories and preserve your memories through the art of photography.
I first got in to photography in about 2009 (well, 2005 if we’re getting REALLY technical). It was when my then-fiancé and I started looking at wedding photographers. Seeing the variety of styles out there helped me come to understand photography as an art form and not just a business.
Even though I did my homework and made sure I felt excited about my photographer’s style, I STILL never got any wedding photos printed or made into an album. They’re on a CD somewhere in storage.
Tsk! Tsk!
That’s why I’m so passionate about walking alongside my clients as we design the artwork they’ll enjoy on their walls for years to come.
My husband noticed my continued interest in photography and gave me my first “real” camera in 2009. I enjoyed learning how to use it so much that I went back to school and earned a degree in photography. All these years later, I still enjoy learning new techniques and exploring this expansive field.
Most days, you’ll find me hanging out at my home in Pike Road, Alabama with my husband (that dude from all the way back at the beginning of the story!), our four-year-old daughter, and our dog. We love all kinds of adventures, especially if they include some kind of tasty treat! That guy from the Piña Colada song wouldn’t like me much, because I am definitely into yoga. A fun cocktail with a great back story will get my attention every time.
Overall, I’m a snarky, goofy, doesn’t-take-myself-too-seriously, nostalgic, romantic type with a camera and a dream.
